This past AHG year our troop learned more about Days for Girls and also spent some time and resources helping this organization. Girls...it is hard to imagine what life is like without all the necessities that we have at our fingertips here in the US...but just imagine this...when you know that you need to take a bath or shower, the soap and washcloth just isn't available. Clean water is not always there either but you are thankful for the water that you do have, even if it is muddy looking.

SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE AT AHG MEETINGS!
We know that many of you like to crochet, knit...and that there are LOTS of back to school sales and clearance items going on with washcloths now and very soon. During our September AHG meetings we will be collecting washcloths. You either make them or buy them (Target and Walmart have cheap ones for all those going to college!). We will have a box on the stage where you can put them in...just look for the box.
